Ride the Winter Wave

Most weeks I have the privilege of working with the crazy creative folks at my favorite (the only) surf shop in Vermont, WND&WVS, to come up with and execute ads for print & Web. For any particular campaign my role can be designer, art director, copywriter, illustrator, photographer, and yes, occasionally male model (I’m currently working on my own version of “Blue Steel”).

Here’s one I created the artwork for in Illustrator using the Symbol Sprayer Tool and my Wacom Intuous tablet and stylus. I even came up with the ad copy for this one. Props as well to my design bruddah, Bill Jostrand, for the final ad design. Let us know what you think and, if I get enough requests, I may even post a Symbol Sprayer tutorial to show how I did it.
